Educational consultant, researcher, artist and entrepreneur. Pharmacist from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2004), master (2014) and doctor (2018) in Education, Management and Scientific Communication from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He was a fellow at Harvard University between 2017 and 2019.

In the arts, João has 29 years of experience as a dancer and choreographer and has toured more than 4,000 shows around the world. He currently lives in France, working as an education specialist, is a visiting researcher at the University of Texas at Dallas (USA) and Fiocruz (Brazil) and works as an independent artist.

In the area of research, his work explores the relationship between art, science, technology and education. The results of these works have been published in several academic journals and presented at places such as the National Academy of Science, Harvard University, MIT and Imperial College London, among others.
